LUTHERAN SERVICES OF GEORGIA
Lutheran Services of Georgia has good news. It will be resettling over 300 refugees this year. This program was all but shut down after 9/11/2001. The bad news is that the LSG warehouses used to collect household furnishings to set up new refugees in apartments is almost empty. They are expecting 120 refugees in the next six weeks (by summers end).
We need YOUR HELP in donating any of the following: silverware, pots & pans, and lamps as soon as possible. Other items are also needed to furnish an apartment such as furniture, bedding, linens, anything you use to keep house. Please contact the church office at 770-993-4316 if you have any questions.
