STEPHANIE IBSEN, THIRD GRADE TEACHER

Mrs. Stephanie Ibsen was born and raised in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Kennesaw State University with an Early Childhood Education degree.  While pursuing her studies at Kennesaw, she gained experience substituting, working with individuals with special needs and tutoring.

Mrs. Ibsen lives in Atlanta with her family.  Her husband, John, is a Network Engineer.  Her daughter, Anna, almost one year old, has been a delightful gift from God.

When her college career began, she wanted to go into sales/marketing.  However, as she taught her clients about the software, it occurred to her that she should be a teacher because she made learning so much fun.

Mrs. Ibsen is very excited about joining the Rivercliff Lutheran School staff in the fall of 2004 because she loves to teach.  She is also very anxious and energized about teaching children because they are just as excited about learning.
