KINDERGARTEN CURRICULUM

Kindergarten is the first formal educational setting for most students. Students in Kindergarten are curious and energetic. These qualities can be used to help develop a love for learning and reading. Kindergarten students at Rivercliff Lutheran School will learn through active involvement in all areas of the curriculum. They will learn by experimenting, manipulating objects, playing, creating, and investigating. The use of hands-on experiences through centers, stories, experiments, art, drama, music, and movement will be incorporated throughout the curriculum. As the goals and objectives of the curriculum are taught, faith issues will be integrated into the daily lessons.
