The 2004-2005 School Year 

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

As we begin our 4th school year, RLS will be introducing new teachers to its staff.  Complete biographical sketches are found on our RLS STAFF Page.

KINDERGARTEN TEACHER:    Mrs. Sylvia Jones
Mrs. Jones brings a variety of early childhood education experience to the classroom.  She was the RLS Teacher's Aide last year.  

FIRST GRADE TEACHER:        Mrs. Alisa Johnson
Mrs. Johnson is new to RLS this year.  Previously she has taught kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades for over eight years.  

2nd & 3rd GRADE TEACHER    Mrs. Stephanie Ibsen
Mrs. Ibsen is also new to RLS this year.  Mrs. Ibsen had been substitute teaching and tutoring while raising her daughter Anna, who is one year old.  

Applications are being accepted for Kindergartern Registrations for the 2005-2006 school year. Registration packets are available at the Open Arms Office and at the Church Office.

THINGS YOU CAN DO FOR RIVERCLIFF LUTHERAN SCHOOL:

   
*    Keep Campbell Soup Labels and Box Tops for Education labels

    *    Use your Kroger and Publix Partner Cards when grocery shopping

    *    When you donate to the school, remember to check with Thrivent Financial to get donations matched.

    *    Consider volunteering your time and talents to RLS  (We are looking for a chess player to help organize a chess club.)

    *    PRAY for the students, the teachers, the volunteers, and prospective students
